The Challenges

The works could only be undertaken outside of normal station operating times usually between 01:00 hours and 05:00 each day. The works also had to interface with passenger travelling between the station and the airport.

The Delivery

Due to the location of the works to the Over bridge lighting and Lift Entrance Lobbies, careful planning was required due to the very high numbers of travelling public to ensure that minimal restrictions were created by the local work sites. The majority of the works were undertaken during periods of low passenger traffic.

The Outcome

The client and travelling public were provided with a much improved lighting scheme.
